A Stray Dog Comes to School
[Name: Kuro, Address: Akitsu High School Janitor's Office, Occupation: Guard Dog]
From that day on, he lived alongside the youth of 4,800 people.

1960s. Ryosuke, a high school student in Nagano, shares his lunch with a black dog he sees on his way to school. From that day on, Kuro lives in the janitor's office and becomes a school favorite. Ryosuke's best friend is Koji, a classmate. Both of them have feelings for their classmate Yukiko, but one day, Koji dies in a motorcycle accident. Yukiko is shocked, but Kuro tenderly embraces her. Ten years later, Ryosuke, now a veterinarian in Tokyo, returns home for the first time in a long while. When Ryosuke goes to see Kuro, he senses something strange happening to Kuro's body that's not just due to aging... This moving film depicts the heartwarming interactions between students and faculty based on the true story of Kuro, who watched over the youth of 4,800 people.
