Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, suffered devastating damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake that struck on March 11th. Amid the quadruple hardships of earthquake, tsunami, nuclear accident, and negative rumors, the large-scale leisure facility Spa Resort Hawaiians has revived the nationwide hula girls caravan, which took place the year before the facility opened, for the first time in 46 years. Determined to continue dancing despite being victims themselves, the hula girls head out on the "Hula Girls Nationwide Kizuna Caravan." "Let's bring smiles to the streets. Let's return to our roots," they say. This documentary follows the girls over the course of four months as they encourage the disaster victims, never losing their smiles.
